There are so many ways you can be involved in the greenhouse project! Through prayers, an encouraging word, volunteering, buying our produce, and even through donating, your heart can be invested in the work of teaching students how to work hard, grow their own food, and be lights in the world no matter where they end up after their time here.
Our Annual Seed Money Campaign was a success!
Thank you to everyone who donated and made this campaign a success! We were able to raise $1500 through the SeedMoney site, as well as earn $400 in bonus grants. We are thrilled to have this jump start on next year’s seeds and seed starting mix! We can’t wait to share with you all the yummy things we’ll be growing in 2025!
Why did we raise money through another organization? There are several great reasons!
- Seed Money is a nonprofit organization that not only organizes this annual campaign event for nonprofit gardens all over the world, but they also offer bonus grants on top of whatever money gets donated to a garden. Since they offer 432 bonus grants and our project is privileged to be a recipient of some of those extra grant funds!
- We love to feel like we’re not on our own in growing gardens to benefit our community. Getting to see all the other projects involved is an inspiration!
- The campaign comes at a time when we’re not only tending and harvesting all our winter crops, but also gearing up for crops to plant in spring, summer, and fall in 2025. Your support through this campaign lasts the whole year!
